Frequent Thoughts of a Frequent Traveler

So we’ve been at this whole travel thing for a while now. We’re over 40 countries deep just this year, and by now, we’ve developed a list of questions we are frequently asking. Here’s a look at what goes on inside these heads of ours.

Arrival

• What time is it here?

• What’s the exchange rate // Do they accept credit cards in most places?

• Where’s my passport?

• Do they have Uber here?

• Do they have real toilets or squat toilets here?

Hotel Check In

• Do they provide free breakfast?

• What’s the WiFi password?

• [Sniffs shirt] I wonder if they have laundry service here.

Morning Routine

• Should I pack snacks? (OBVIOUSLY.)

• When will I be near a toilet again? (I should try one more time before we go.)

• Is my phone charged?

• Do I have my _____ [sunscreen, chapstick, cash, bug spray, ID, etc.]?

• When’s the last time I worked out?

• Where should we go next?

And our personal favorite:

• Should I call Mom? (Hint: the answer is always yes!)
